Scandia Family Fun Center

Scandia Family Center is nine acres of entertainment for the entire family right here in Fairfield. Scandia features two award winning miniature golf courses, a state-of-the-art Lasertron Lasertag arena, lil’ indy raceway go karts, bumper boats, baseball batting cages, the Clubhouse for Kids playground, a huge arcade with over 200 games, and great food in the Scandia Cafe.

Scandia’s attractions include:

MINIATURE GOLF: The two award winning miniature golf courses feature ponds, streams, fountains and beautiful gardens. Both of the 18 hole courses include a variety of obstacles to overcome including the majestic Scandinavian castle that overlooks both courses. 

LIL’ INDY RACEWAY: Attention race fans! Break free of freeway traffic at the Lil’ Indy Raceway. If you are over 58 inches tall and like to live in the fastlane, come try your skill on the expertly designed racetrack. Double seat cars are available for those whose height, (under 58 inches but over 40 inches) limits them to experience the race from the passenger seat, with an adult driver.

WATER BUGS BUMPER BOATS: Come and escape the heat on one of the waterbugs, it’s fun, wet and exciting. The waterbugs are a variation of bumper cars, but in the water. You must be at least 44 inches tall to drive. Children over 40″ can ride with an adult. If you don’t get wet, you didn’t have fun, so get wet, get wild and have a wonderful time.

ARCADE: Scandia’s grand arcade has over 200 games to choose from, from the classics to the cutting edge of video technology, plus pinball and a huge selection of prize redemption games with the best prizes around.

BATTING CAGES: For baseball and softball enthusiasts Scandia offers 18 computer controlled pitching machines. Hardball machines pitch from 40 M.P.H. for the beginners to a speedy 70 M.P.H. for advanced players. Softball is available in both fast pitch and slow pitch configurations.
