Downtown Tree Lighting | December 1

Downtown Fairfield’s Holiday celebration begins December 1st with the tree lighting on Texas Street, between the blocks of Union Avenue and Madison Street. Mayor Catherine Moy will light the tree at 6:30 pm. Get into the spirit of Christmas by meeting Santa Claus and the Frozen sisters! Enjoy youth performances, caroling, arts and crafts, hot cocoa and a Winter Wonderland activity area. Most activities are FREE!

Christmas on the Suisun Waterfront | December 2

Santa Trains at Western Railway Museum | December 1-17

It’s that time of the year when Western Railway Museum transforms into a Christmas Wonderland for the whole family! Enjoy magical winter train rides, and a visit from Santa Claus where he will greet each child with a festive golden bell to signify the first gift of the Christmas season. Trains will be running every hour from 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Ticket prices are $28 for adults, $26 for children, $15 for adult members, $12 for Child members and all tickets for under 2 are free.

Join Mr. Jelly Belly and friends for a festive brunch with Santa on December 9th, 2023, starting at 9:45 am. Reservations are a must due to limited space. This year’s brunch will be served family style at your table. Tables of up to 10 people will be $200 each. The brunch menu includes bacon, Andouille sausage, eggs, tater tots, pancakes, fruit, and assorted beverages. Individual tickets are not available. It’s a magical way to celebrate the season!

HvH Flowers has ordered sustainably harvested fresh greens from farmers in Oregon and will be creating swags and arrangements. Bring your favorite container for a tabletop design or create something lovely for your front door. The event picture shows the type of materials they will have on hand. Your creation is up to you!

Suisun Valley Christmas Cruise | December 16

It’s time for the Suisun Valley Christmas Cruise! Watch as jolly decorated tractors and agricultural vehicles take a holiday cruise through the lovely Suisun Valley. The cruise will begin at 5:30 pm at Farmer’s Closet and end at the 4000 block of Suisun Valley Road. Visitors are encouraged to find a local business along the route to support while watching the Cruise.
