Mangels Vineyard opened its brand new tasting room in 2017! The winery is a partnership between Gary and Katy Mangels and George Richmond and Gina Oberti Richmond. Both the Mangels and Oberti families have been farming in Suisun Valley for more than 100 years. Gary Mangels’ family owned one of the valley’s first tasting rooms in the 1890s!

After pouring at the Suisun Valley Wine Co-op for many years, Mangels Vineyard opened its own tasting room in 2017 that features a beautiful outdoor patio and garden. Their varietals include Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Verdelho, Rose, Petite Sirah, Syrah, and Tempranillo.

Mangels Vineyards grow varieties that are well-suited to the specific sites, where their vineyards are located in Suisun Valley.  As trends in wine change, Mangels Vineyards continues to search for new varieties and techniques that lend well to the valley’s climate and soils.

Mangels is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday, noon to 5 pm.
